Warm fronts could be....

T
he changeover region where a warm air mass is replacing a cold air mass.
Warm fronts usually move from southwest to northeast and the air behind a warm front is warmer and moistier than the air ahead of it. When a warm front passes, the air becomes noticeably warmer and more humid than it was before.

  1. I liked how you have the pictures to show what you are talking about. I liked the way you put what direction the warn air goes. Alsome that you put where humidity comes from thats cool.

  2. yeah over in louisiana you melted like a popsicle in the sun because we are so close to the equator. so now i know where all those heat waves came from and how they work

  3. This can also cause tornadoes because the fronts start to swirl around each other. Fronts can even cause heat waves witch if last to long can cause people to die. So even though some fronts feel good they can also be harmful.

  4. A cold front is defined as the leading edge of a cooler mass of air, replacing (at ground level) a warmer mass of air.The cooler , denser air wedges under the less warmer air , lifting it. this upward motion causes lowered pressure along the cold font that causes formation.....
